Josephine Diebitsch Peary [1863-1955] accompanied her husband Robert Peary on his second trip in 1891-92 to explore the interior of Greenland. This is her journal on her experiences at McCormick Bay and interaction with the Inuit people. Her observations contributed to the study of the Inuit. This book also includes a short account of the 1892 summer journey to discover the extent of Greenland and confirm that it was an island.

This is a good addition to Robert Peary books on his extensive exploration of Greenland and Polar travels.
