In the 1930's, motor car trips were becoming more common and these type of destination travel guides and advertisements for National Parks published. These are early and more commercialized photographs by Ansel Adams (1902-1984). During this period he became more established as a large landscape photographer and experimented in developing his style and compositions. This publication shows that range of work from images of people activities in Yosemite Valley and the National Park to beautifully framed large landscapes of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
