The U.S. Camera Publishing Corporation issued an annual book of significant news and fine art photography form 1935 to 1972. They also published a serial magazine on photography from 1938 and over the years has been renamed as as Travel + Leisure magazine.

This book is the 18th U.S. Camera Annual. The editors select important photographs and photographers to represent the best images of the news and fine art photography. This issue contains an article by Edward Steichen of four French photographers from the Museum of Modern Art - Brassai, Doisneau, Izis and Ronis. Also highlighted are 32 pages of Life color photography, British photographer Alfred Eisenstaedt, and a pull out section of eight images and the News Picture Year including the Korean war, Tokyo riots, the death of George VI and return of the new Queen Elizabeth upon the death of the King.
