John Hamilton Reynolds (1794-1852) was an English poet and playwright. This is a 1905 reprint of The Fancy with an extensive introduction by John Masefield. This book is also illustrated by Jack Butler Yeats (1871-1957, English painter and illustrator), who was the son of English poet John Yeats, a good friend of Reynolds.

It is printed on heavy rag paper and is a good example of English poetry in the early 1800’s.
